It’s important to set a good expectation of time when you are starting your weight or fat loss journey. It’s easy to get discouraged when it doesn’t happen as fast as we would like. It’s a process. You didn’t gain it overnight and you won’t lose it that fast either.
There are many factors that contribute to this process including but not limited to sleep, stress and nutrition. It’s all connected. If you’re constantly stressed about losing the weight at a faster rate, you may in fact be slowing down your progress in the gym and in the kitchen. There is way to get adequate sleep, manage stress and eat well without jeopardizing your mental health.
It’s important to make your weight loss goals sustainable. When you do it at a healthy rate of 1 to 2 pounds per week or 4 to 8 pounds per month you are more likely to keep it off. Eat your veggies, drink your water, don't stress out and remember it is a marathon not a sprint!
